JUNE 2 - 5 - Late Spring/early Summer camping trip. Open to anyone interested in camping/staying/biking in Door County. This is a "on your own" trip, as there are no group sites or reservations. If you want to camp, people are staying at Fish Creek campground (fishcreekcampground.com). Their rates are based on 4 persons per site - 2 tents or RV and/or tent. They also have primitive cabins for rent. The town of Fish Creek has other accommodations (hotels, B&B’s, condos). However, it being after Memorial Day - make reservations early. The campground is 1 mile to the entrance of Peninsula State Park and 1.5 miles to the town of Fish Creek. Be sure to bring your bikes. Sitzmark's fiscal year runs May 1 to April 30 of the following year. Membership dues are $20.00 (cash or check), per person annually, payable no later than August 31, 2022. Failure to renew membership within three (3) months of the due date shall be cause for termination of membership. WHAT IS CMSC?
The Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council (CMSC) primary goal is to promote and support our member clubs in their effort to further the interest in skiing, snow boarding and year round activities - social activities.
CMSC is a not for profit organization with 70 member clubs throughout the Chicago metropolitan area and neighboring states, representing over 10,000 skiers and snowboarders.

If you would like to organize an event but not sure what, some past ideas include Hiking, Pedal Tavern, Segway, and Kayaking during warm weather months. And winter hiking, snowshoeing, X-C skiing in cold weather months.
If you are doing Biking, Beer Gardens, or other impromptu events on the weekend and want to invite anyone interested, send an email toSitzmarkIL@gmail.com with the details and I’ll send a quick note out. Include, name, phone #, where to meet, when to meet, and what the event is.
Advice for those organizing events:
If you volunteered to organize & run an event…THANK YOU!! Your club appreciates you taking the time to volunteer and contribute your ideas. Now…the next step is to contact our PREZ, Gina DeJoseph, who will help PROMOTE your trip/event in the club weekly updates, which communicates our event to the club. Our PREZ, and/or any of our board members are more than willing to help you and provide you with suggestions on how to sell the event. If you need help designing a flyer, contact Gina and/or any of the board members to assist you. Our co-VP's - Alouise & Betty, coordinate all our Social events and non-ski trips.
