Beaver Creek 2025

Fortunately all our flights arrived in Denver on time, after a little bit of a delay due to baggage issues we were on our way to our grocery and beverage stop before heading onto Beaver Creek.

We finally arrived at Borders Lodge and enjoyed a wine and cheese reception before settling down in our condos.

Sunday was a beautiful and sunny bluebird day so we all hit the slopes for a fun day of skiing.

After a lovely day on the slopes we met up at one of the condos to watch the Super Bowl and enjoyed watching the Eagles destroy the Chiefs, well at least I enjoyed it! 🦅 Thanks to Bill and Barb and Costco we had plenty of snacks to munch on and thanks to Marta we had football themed plates, napkins and cups and a cake! Martin and Sharon provided  jello shots that we did during the commercials. The pizza and salads from Blue Moose were very tasty. All in all it was a nice start to the week.

The rest of the week was pretty much dry and everyone enjoyed getting out and skiing. Several people also enjoyed the daily (3 pm) fresh baked chocolate cookies, although I believe that Bill won the prize for the most cookies for the week!

Everyone took advantage of the free shuttle system to get around BC and several used it to ski a day at Vail.

We finally got some fresh snow at the end of the week and several adventurous people went out and enjoyed the fresh powder.

Although the fresh snow was nice for anyone arriving, it did make our trip to the airport a bit of an adventure. A couple of people unfortunately missed their flights but luckily were still able to get out on later flights. Everyone arrived home safely and  ready to ski another day.
